GoDaddy has become a household brand. They are one of the biggest website hosting and domain name companies in the world.

However, being the biggest does not make you the best or the cheapest and there are many GoDaddy alternatives that can offer you a better price, service and experience.

GoDaddy are well known to be overpriced; they will charge you for everything from migrations to backups to email forwarders and SSL certificates which are all features that you shouldn't have to be paying extra for.

There are also countless horror stories floating around the internet about GoDaddy’s poor customer service and service levels.

As a business owner, you should always look at all of your available options. If a GoDaddy alternative has a good reputation, is cheaper and offers similar or better features and products, then you should make an informed decision, don’t be fooled by low introductory prices, you will later come to regret it.

Let’s take a look at some of the best GoDaddy alternatives in the UK and what they do better than GoDaddy.
